Description

In the fragile space between dreaming and waking, a skull appeared: grinning, spectral, and unshakably real. I jolted awake; only to find my pink makeup bag, twisted by shadow into a macabre illusion. The image lingers, a symbol of how death can hide in beauty, and how the mind blurs reality with nightmare.
